The life cycle of an enterprise implies different stages of development - from a business idea to growth and international markets. The advanced Latvian Business.gov.lv platform is designed so that the entrepreneur finds the necessary support at a particular stage faster.
The aim of the new approach is to:
- Reduce the time that entrepreneurs spend searching for information;
- Structure services according to the life cycle of the company (foundation, development, expansion);
- Make the public service environment more understandable and practical by allocating a single platform to all essential services;
- Facilitate access to more than 600 national e-services, licenses, authorizations and support instruments in a single, logically structured framework.
HOW COULD THIS HELP YOUR BUSINESS?
Centralized access to public services can significantly increase the administrative efficiency of a company. It's especially important if you are:
- Planning to establish a company;
- Applying for state aid programs;
- Applying for licenses or state permits;
- Expanding your company activities abroad.
This is also an important step in the context of digitalization, which is becoming one of the main factors of competitiveness in Latvia and Europe.

DEVELOPMENT BY 2030: WHAT ELSE CAN YOU EXPECT?
The development of the platform will not stop at the initial changes. By 2030, it is planned to:
- Add new national e-services;
- Implement AI tools for personalized information selection that analyze your activities and offer the most relevant services or information, thus reducing manual searches;
- Expand the range of explanatory materials and support instruments;
- Improve the user experience based on feedback from entrepreneurs.
WHERE WILL YOU BE ABLE TO FIND LIAA SERVICES IN THE FUTURE?
LIAA e-services do not disappear anywhere, in case you were wondering - they will be available as a separate block of services after logging in Business.gov.lv. This means that existing users will retain access to services, but will be included in the wider national digital system.
